Come and join us at the Blue Lotus Room for a wonderful "Zodiac" New Year's party! Just as Nawruz, the Persian New Year is celebrated at the time of the Equinox in March, as is Ostara, we will also be celebrating with the true astrological New Year! It's the ingress of Aries, as it leaves the last Zodiac sign of Pisces, as we start with a fresh, new pioneering attitude.

Fun dance and drum performances, light refreshments, open dance (free-dance) to music, and a lovely atmosphere for all, including a special, wishing tree to make all your wishes come true! Friends and family welcome. This is a warm community event to celebrate the art of Arabic dancing and drumming..

Keti Sharif, internationally renowned Bellydance Teacher, lived in Egypt, where she developed A-Z Bellydance & Teacher Training courses, with thousands of graduates worldwide! She hosted festivals & ran events, including workshops with Mahmoud Reda & Farida Fahmy. Celebrity performances include Jermaine Jackson, Omar Sharif, Malaysia's King & Queen, High Prince, Prime Minister & Prince of Pahang, Princess of Morocco, Egyptian singers Ragheb Alema & Hakim, & Lebanese singer Alaa Zalzali.
