  • The SPIRIT OF EGYPT weekend event @ Blue Lotus Room 1-3 April 2022 celebrates & promotes Egyptian cultural arts, music, dance & costume traditions. Accessible to the wider local community, including wheelchair participants, participants can enjoy Dance, Drumming & Cultural Arts workshops, lunchtime events & evening recitals. High quality self development workshops are available for practicing artists to develop skills & cultural insight.

'El MASR' DRUM & DANCE; A FUN INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP

Opening workshop! Play darbuka or dance to an array of earthy Egyptian rhythms with an emphasis on maintaining a strong rhythmic base. Please bring a drum or dof, there are a few spares.
